Phish - PNC Bank Arts Center - Holmdel, NJ 6/1/11

When the topic turned to Phish at the 7 Walkers Show the night before - I halfheartedly sent out a text to my nephew Matt asking him if he wanted to go see Phish and cc'd two other nephews who I had a good feeling were already planning on attending... the cc recipients replied favorably, almost instantly, and show 2 started taking form. Weds was jam packed with visiting friends and catching up. After being forced to Evacuate a northbound 6 train mid station (tragic accident at 77th Station) and a quick stop on the UES I was Jersey bound and soon to be Phishin.

The drive down was easy -

after spilling half my budlight shotgun down the front of my
shirt we hooked up with Nephew #3 (JC) and his posse
and made our way into the outdoor amphitheater

- settling in under the Pavillion -

The music was great - the crowd was a bit rambunctious
at times but aside from a constant flurry of flying glowstiks -
they were pretty easy going.

The best part was hanging with the nephews

Not really that familiar with alot of Phish songs - but was
rocking and grooving to most of what they played -

Highlights were Tweezer, Suzy Greenburg, and No Quarter,
a kicking cover of the Led Zeppelin song.

Not gonna set sail on any mutli city Phish Voyage but
wouldn't be opposed to catching another show sometime
in the near future.
